Another Priceline Haul

As per usual I walked into pricline intending to get a hair curler and tweezers and I walked out with those items and a little bit more.

Remington Professional Pro Curls Tong CI519
19mm tong it was the smallest barrel there and I like smaller curls, if I want bigger curls I can just run my fingers through them to loosen the curl. ( this obviously isn't a picture that I've taken, forgot to take the picture).

Maybeline Fit Me 320 Foundation and Powder
If you remember the foundation was part of my 2012 favourites, however the colour that I had 350 was actually a shade to dark so this shade 320 is a shade down and is perfect, and luckily it comes with the powder so I don't have to hunt down one in a similar shade!

 Models Prefer Pointed Tweezer.
The point of my old tweezers got warped and made it really hard to pluck any hairs so of course I needed a new pair.

Essence Eyebrow Stylist Set
Interested in eyebrow powders so can't way to try this.

Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula Moisturizing Body Oil
Bought this to help lock in moisture in my skin, this humid heat is drying out any moisture in my skin so hopefully this will help.

Quick Haul bought some things I needed and somethings I wanted. Can't wait to play around with these products.

January Lustlaveit 2013!

As I left home today I was surprised to find my lusthaveit box tucked away near my door, with excitement I raced in and opened it and for once the contents of the box were a total surprise. The temptation of reading reviews is always too much or me but luckily no one had any reviews up. This month’s box also revealed the new packaging, a sturdy box with a white and pink pattern on it, cute. The new boxes are also collectable.

So now to the good bit what did I get?

First of is the Nude by Nature BB 5- in- 1 Miracle Cream I have tried Nude by Nature before I had the starter Kit in the medium tone and was quite happy with it, but I love BB cream I am currently getting my hands on as many BB creams as I can to find the best one for me, I know everyone loves the Garnier BB cream but I feel like there is a better one out there for me, I tried the one I got in my bellabox and was happy with it and am excited to use this one!  Especially as it claims to instantly hydrate, corrects, perfects and protect your skin. This is a full size product 50 ml RRP $19.95

Face of Australia Bronzing Loose Powder so this is kind of perfect I’ve been needing a bronzer as my old one seems to have grown a pair of legs and disappeared!  So that was lucky, I haven’t tried it yet but I will upload swatches of it. This is also a full size product 20g RRP $12.95

Lusthaveit Kabuki Brush  this little brush is meant to be paired up with the bronzer which is quite handy, I actually just bought a bunch of brushes online which I’ll do a separate post on but I don’t have a kabuki brush… until now! RRP $19.95

GKMBJ Lactating Hydrating Honey Shampoo and Fortifying Honey Crème this looks interesting will give it a go next time I wash my hair haven’t heard of this brand before. 280ml RRP $19.95 each.

Amuse Nail Lacquer again I haven’t heard of this brand before but the bottle looks really nice. It has little diamond embellishments on the lid. The colour is a bright almost fluro orange, I have this in the shade Atomic Orange. Full size  18ml RRP $13.95

So there you have it the Lusthaveit box for January 2013, a great start to the year. I am so impressed with the box. Last month I felt that Bellabox was better than Lusthaveit although this month is definitely the other way around, I like all the products and can definitely say that I will use all of them, the value of the box turned out to be $106 so worth the $15 for the box.

please make my day don't forget to subscribe!

Bellabox January 2013

Hurray my Bellabox finally came in the mail yesterday! And I must say I did have a sneaky peak at other peoples boxes and was really hopping that my box wouldn't be like there's, some of them looked just terrible. So the weight of the box in my hand felt quite heavy so I was pretty sure I got the face wipes and I did BUT I was pleasantly surprised with the contents of my box I am yet to see anyone with a box similar to mine but here is what I got.

So the theme of the box this month 'We love Australia' so all of the  products were Australian owned which i thought was pretty cool.

Wotnot Organic facial wipes. full size rrp $7.95
I've seen alot of people rave about these wipes so I'm really glad I got these in my box can't wait to try them out. But that won't be until my current face wipes run out.

Swisse body wash with vitamin B3 and macrobiotic sea minerals. 30ml. RRP $14.95
always willing to try new things so ill give this ago with my lusthaveit body mit.

Natio Pure Mineral Skin Perfecting BB Cream SPF15. RRP $14.95
I quite like this brand, I've used body washes and face moisturizers from this brand before. I'm also interested in trying out other BB cream, I've already got the garnier BB cream. It's also in the shade medium which is my shade! perfect.

Face of Australia Massage Therapy Lipshine. Full Size. RRP $10.95
This is my favourite product in the box. I can't even begin to explain how delicious this lip gloss smells, its life a fruity sweet jellybean/ lemonade sent its declicious!

I also got the You ME and Everybody Cool it Aloe Vera Gel. Full size product RRP $8.95
This product is made from 98.5% Aloe Vera its very soothing and cooling

All in all I am quite happy with this box although I really had my doubts. My lusthaveitbox will be here soon it will be interesting to see what comes in that box to!

Bedroom Change

Every so often I feel the need to change my room around and re-organise the things in it and today I transformed my study table into my beauty table. So originally I was going to go back to studying at university, however after giving it a good think over I've come to realise that I not only  don't want to go back but I feel it inst the right time anyhow bottom line Im not going back! haha So I changed all my study stuff and put It on my Tallboy and all by beauty products on my Study desk.

Ok so heres what it looks like. I have just a plane black study table that I purchased from k-mart last year for $30

This is my bangle/braclet stand that I purchased at Riot! for $15 the bangle on the left end is the one I purchased at equip but lost the photo for.(read it here)

This is my light up makeup mirror. I was actually on the hunt for one of these but luckily for me I got it gifted to me in the holidays last year! It's pretty groovy you just have to touch the base of the mirror and it lights up in 3 different levels of brightness and if you flip it over its a close up mirror.

This is my jewellery stand. I got this a few years ago at loot not sure if they still have them but it fits so many necklaces, earings and a few rings

So I needed a container for my clips/bobby pins and hair ties picked up these cute little boxes in a $2 shop for $2

This is my fragrance collection all of my perfumes I just realised are all from singers. So a few of these are on my 2012 favorites. (read it here) I have rebe'l fleur by Rhianna, Fantasy by Brittney Spears, Midnight heat By Beyonce, Hello kitty spray in Bubblegum and nivea pearl beauty deodorant.

Hair Care. Lee Stafford Beach babe Sea Salt Sprat. Tigi catwalk hairspray that I got from my Lusthaveit December box, Dry conditioner by cedel, Garnier Fructic Flat iron protector and Schwarzkopf ultimate keratin mouse.

Skin Care  Freeman clay mask, Simple face moisturiser  Clean and clear face wash and nivea irresistibly smooth moisturiser.

I'm loving the change in my room and know there will be more products added to my growing collection. And Surely in a few months i will change this up

Equip Haul

Ok so while I still don't have a camera I've had to make do because I hate how long its been since the last post and well technolodgy isn't really a strong point of mine, but i'll make do!

So I actually bought these items about a week and a half ago, at equip they had a up to 75% of sale which is amazing right? I go through fazes with jewellery, somtimes I buy them and mostly for months I don't. However after seeing a few vlogs and blogs on jewellery hauls it pushed me to have a look and as always I walked away with a few good snags, so here they are...

 Alice Geometric Gatsby headband.
So this was originally $14.99 and i paid $3.75

6 Pack heart, triangle and peace earing.
This was originally $12.99  I paid $3.25

Coral encrusted diamond earing.
Was originally $9.99 I paid $2.50

2 Pack rose diamond border hair clips.
Originally $8.99 I paid $ 2.25

I also bought a large bangle with purple and turquoise gems in it but i can't find the photo for it. It was originally $22.99 I paid $5.75

So as you can see i snaged a few bargins and saved a fair few dollars! Definetly a great time to buy jewellery. All together  I paid $17.50 without the discount I would have paid $52.45!

Beauty Favourites of 2012

With 2013 under way It's time to show you my favourite/ most used beauty products of 2012! and without further adieu here they are!

                                                             Lips

Rimmell Kate Moss Lipsticks- I stumbled across these beauties from watching a vlog on youtube and thought I might give it a try and at $11.95 a pop I thought it was fairly reasonable. I started of with number 20 which is a really bright pink lippy which I love, from then on every time I would go shopping I would check out the range. In giant Chemist they were actually getting rid of 4 colours so I scored big time, they were $4.99 so I bought number 14 which is a nude colour. Never used to be a big fan of the beige colour, but it’s great to be able to wear lippy to work. I also bought number 60 which is a dark red, didn't think it would suit me but it has turned out to be one of my favs.

Softlips - in raspberry and Vanilla both smell amazing especially the raspberry. They have spf 20 in them, they fix my cracked lips within 2-3 days! Always carry one with me.

Revlon lip butters- Need I say more? these babies are the best. At $21.95 they aren’t really in my price range but on ebay I got them for 12 bucks a pop and with free shipping! I got them from thesecretlifeofjac. I’ve got them in creamsicle, tutti-frutti and lolly-pop. I got lolly-pop from big w for $15 at boxing day, unfortunetly I think that’s the cheapest it will ever been in the shops. These are a great inbetween of lipbalm and lip gloss, you can wear this as a tint of colour or work it up to be like a lipstick. They smell great and have mango butter in them so they leave your lips feeling great.

                                                                   Eyes

Maybelline Colour Tattoo-Again saw these of a youtube vlog and went out to try them I have them in 05 Too Cool and 35 Tough as Taupe. Too Cool is my favourite to use in the inner of my eyes or to blend in with other colours to give a bit of shimmer.

Microfibre eyelash extention mascara
They’re real Mascara by benefit.

                                                               Face
Models Prefer Mattifying Primer
Fit Me Maybelline Foundation. Added SPF 18
Australis Colour Corrector. Green, which reduces the appearance of redness blemishes and uneven skin tone.
Essence My Base Illuminating Make-Up Base.
Garnier BB cream in Medium. Perfect for a lazy day

                                                               Perfume.
Britany Spears Fantasy. Still my all time favourite.
Hello Kitty Bubblegum . The scent actually reminds me of jelly, super sweet. Easy to go over board.

Moisturiser. Nivea Irresistibly Smooth. Lives my skin smelling like a baby!
Simple Kind to skin hydrating light moisturier.

Well these are my favourite/ most used beauty products of 2012! and with the new year here I'm excited to try new products. Its only been nearly 2 months since I started blogging and really getting into beauty products so I am excited to see what this new year is going to bring. Hope this year is a blast for everyone.

Tuesday 1 January 2013

First post of the year!

First blog of the year! Sorry it has been a while again trying to find time in between to blog. I've had family come over and I've been trying to spend as much time with them as I can. So I have tried to reduce the amount of money im spending on beauty products but every so often ill slip and especially with the Boxing Day sales I couldn't resist! And with that I bring you the Ulta3 candy cane nail polish, Kate Moss lipstick number 14 and 60, rimmel coral lipstick, Revlon lip butter in lollypop Schwarzkopf Ultimate Keratin Mousse, Garnier Fructis Sleek and shine flat iron, cedal dry conditioner and Lee Stafford Sea salt spray.

Ok so I will start with the Schwarzkopf Ultimate Keratin Mousse this is a 48 hour care hold with ultimate hold, a small hand size is all I need for my hair. My hair is just past my shoulders, I really love the smell of this and it makes my hair smell great. I bought this for my hair rollers which im still figuring out how to use, but I also use it to scrunch my hair whilst its damp to enhance the natural waviness of my hair. This cost me $5 in priceline, will be re-purchasing when finished.
Garnier Fructics Sleek and shine flat iron protector straightening mist. This one is actually infused with argon oil so it smells amazing! And the reason for the purchase is pretty self-explanatory, trying to keep those split ends at bay. It’s a 24 hour straight finish and it leaves the hair smooth and shiny and it leaves your hair with a really lovely smell. This was purchased at priceline for $8

Cedel Dry Conditioner.  I’ve heard rave reviews about dry shampoo however I didn’t really think it was suited to my hair and I actually found this dry conditioner ( I didn’t think it existed)  it comes out as foam much like mouse it smells really pleasant and it does refresh my hair specially if it has been a few days since I’ve watched it. (I like to wash my hair every 3-4 days) great to use when my hair really looks limp a great refresher, will be repurchasing this when it’s finished. This cost me $6 at priceline
Lee Stafford Beach Babe Sea Salt hair spray.  I was ready Misstango2 blog and saw that she purchased this and I wanted to try it to.Who doesn’t love their hair after a swim at the beach unfortunately for me I’m not really a public swimmer but with this spray I’m able to achieve that lovley wavy/ curly beach hair without having to get into my bikini. Win!. Smells like a lee Stafford heat protector that I’ve previously owned really nice flowery sent. I use this when I want to wear my hair out but don’t want to style it using heat. It does however leave my hair feeling exactly if I emerged it in the sea, dry, so I pair this up with mouse for extra hold and conditioner to add moisture. Love this spray! $6 at priceline

I will do a separate blog with the nail polishes as there a 12 of them and it would be a huge post if I included them and also on the lipstick and lipbutter. So this post has turned out to be hair themed. Which is a nice change from all the makeup that I’ve been purchasing. I hope you guys all got what you wanted throughout the festive season, had a great new years and hopefully this year will be as great as ever! Welcome to 2013 everyone!
